Great stuff for cleaning radiator type grills on air conditioner units and cars. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL! This stuff is potent and can strip paint in the right circumstances. Use gloves, long sleeves, safety goggles and a mask in a well ventilated area. The stuff is no joke but works like a champ. I used old clothing but did not note any new stains or burns on them. My air conditioner units work far more efficiently now and I do not have to pay the service man $100 for each air unit he cleans.

This is condenser coil cleaner for air conditioners. It's really not a home-use product, but there is no reason a DIY-er can't do this basic maintenance on their own. Plenty of Youtube videos exist for the process, but keep in mind that this cleaner requests that you dilute it with water, I received poor results when I pre-wet the coils. You may wish to leave them dry to start or you won't get sufficient foaming action.

I cleaned my whole A/C unit (a very large one) twice, and used 1/3 of the bottle -- I was working wastefully. This gallon is probably enough for 10 more more good washings.

Warnings:
Be sure to use a beefed up chemical sprayer, like one designed for bleach. This stuff will eat out the seals in lesser units.
While this is biodegradable, it is nasty stuff, and will sting your hands, eyes, and nose. Wear protective equipment even if you don't think you need to.

I did 2 condensers with the gallon at 4x1 water to fluid. This stuff will seriously gas you out without a breeze. Also USE GLOVES. I didn't either time and even had it get into a slight cut when doing my neighbors unit. You will definately know you are alive if it gets into a cut. It didn't always foam up evenly. Sometimes it seemed to just not foam, so I did those sections twice and the second application seemed to work just fine. I used a 2 gallon garden sprayer and a jet tip. It didn't clean the oxide to the "shiny" level but it definitely did the job. Other than having to make a second pass, I would have given it 4. If it didn't require a hazmat suit, it would get 5 stars.

Great product, pretty potent stuff. I manned-up and used it with shorts and without gloves. Every now and then a drop would fly on my skin and quickly started to burn. No marks or long lasting affects.

I did the heavy use 1:4 ratio and mixed 3.2 cups of this with 12.8 cups of water into my 1 gallon sprayer. I went nuts and used the whole gallon for one application. After I sprayed it into the crevices it started to foam up. I sprayed the inside too for the heck of it. After a few minutes the foam started to look brown as it carried the dirt out of the cracks. About 15 minutes later I rinsed it all off with water.

After putting everything back together and turning on my A/C, man I tell ya that thing is many times quieter than it was before. I've had to open the door to check that it's even on. It was getting louder and louder as each month passed. You kind of get used to it since it's a slow progression of noise. The motor can work less and cool more efficiently. I'm sure it'll show in my electricity bill.

What led me to getting this product is that the compressor kept itself off after overheating while the fan was still turning. I came home and the furnace was still circulating inside air but it was warm at 82 deg. I ordered the product then luckily the day it came the compressor/fan was so loud we had to turn it all off so the neighbors wouldn't complain.

Last season I used a $5 can of cleaner from the local hardware store. Did it's job for one season. But from now on I'm using this product every Spring.

We have 2 older AC units, 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs. On really hot days especially this summer (for us 90s) downstairs was struggling and upstairs was unable to keep up (wouldn't go below high 70s). Realized we really hadn't cleaned out the units really well (aside from loose debris and occasional hosing) ever. So bought this stuff and the coil gun and put on some boots and gloves and was amazed at how much grime came off the outside coils. They didn't even look that dirty initially but afterwards looked brand new, almost shiny. Immediately when the units were turned back on the air coming out the top was a great deal cooler (probably 30degrees or more)-implying to me that they were working much better at sucking in the air through the fins in the sides. I hadn't realized how inefficient we must have been operating for at least a couple years until cleaning them out. Highly recommend this stuff.

This woked very well on removing the grime between the fins on my outside unit. I needed only half a bottom for the whole unit. I had not cleaned my outside unit for several years and it was clogged up pretty bad. This stuff removed all the grime and made the fins look new again.

Worked like a charm. Really foams up well. Read the directions and warning prior to use as this stuff is pretty caustic. Even with wearing gloves I got a little on my arn and it left a very small chemical burn. WEAR YOUR PPE!

You will need some sort of spray bottle for this product but I just picked up one at the dollar store. I used this product on my air conditioner coil on my truck. It did a great job cleaning the coil. Highly recommended.
