fig newton without the crust
These bars are amazing. As someone who can't have gluten, they are my alternative to fig newtons. The perfect blend of poppyseed, fig and lemon. One of my favorites!

Lemon? Where?
If you like a bar that tastes like nothing but compressed dates and figs, this is for you. Nuts? I didn't notice. Lemon? Huh? It had a slight bitter aftertaste but I didn't detect lemon. There are several really tasty raw bars on the market and for 12 grams of fat I'll go eat a handful of nuts or one of those. Pulverized figs and dates aren't fatty and aren't...

If you like a bar that tastes like nothing but compressed dates and figs, this is for you. Nuts? I didn't notice. Lemon? Huh? It had a slight bitter aftertaste but I didn't detect lemon. There are several really tasty raw bars on the market and for 12 grams of fat I'll go eat a handful of nuts or one of those. Pulverized figs and dates aren't fatty and aren't pleasurable to eat when expecting a healthy snack bar so for that high of fat, get something enjoyable! Ugh. Never again.
