great value! I have been using this program to create architectural drawing pdf's for large format printing without a hitch. The program opens in my cad printing page. The program is strait forward with out a lot of bells and whistles but allows you to set all the nessesary perameters to get a good print, or send a clear email. Opens with acrobat reader.

This progam is a great value. It only cost $50 a copy and my company bought it(plus PDF Converter Pro for those in our organization that need to edit PDF files and fillout PDF forms) instead of Acrobat and saved a ton of money. I works really well and lets us combine multiple disparate documents into a cohesive package when we are processing loans. Adobe is a good product, but way overpriced. We didn't want to spend $300/copy so everyone would have the ability to create PDFs. This product is really a "PDF for business" solution instead of PDF for graphics pros like Acrobat.

We were using Adobe online PDF creator (at $99/year) and was having a difficult time due to files being too large or the website timing out or being down so I spent $30 on ScanSoft PDF creator 3.0 and figured if it doesn't work, no big deal, but if it does work.. hey.. GREAT DEAL! And it's fabulous!! Although I cannot edit documents already set into PDF format, I can still go back to my MS Office documents, edit there and reprint as a PDF and just replace the old one.

We use it in our office as a solution to using less paper and toner. Our faxes already come in on a computer and I just print to the ScanSoft PDF program and it converts and saves it as a PDF file under any name I want and then I can forward it via email to whomever. It also saves on having random scans, pics, and saved documents in all these folders. With the program I can print and "append" (attach) the new page(s) to an already existing file! It's great to maintain a paper trail without huge thick manila folders. And now I can take any document from any program to the local copy center and make copies without things getting all messed up from program to program.

It's not Adobe Acrobat and I'm saying that it's going to have as many features or functions, but for very basic PDF creating, I would highly recommend this product. It's worth the money you save!

I put out a semi-monthly newsletter which I need to convert from MS Word to PDF for distribution. I thought my options were open source software or Adobe. I tried one open source tool, but couldn't get it to work right and couldn't get technical support. I was pleasantly surprised when I did an Amazon.com search for Adobe and found out about this software.

This software does the job perfectly and it's a bargain compared to Adobe. I would highly recommend it as an Adobe alternative.

I am very happy with this software. We needed to convert excel files into pdf files so that we could email the files to our customers. Not everyone was able to open the file as excel, so we needed to convert them to pdf files. I purchased this product for a very good price. It is extremely easy to setup and to use. I was surprised actually at just how easy it is. The setup is simple and once it's setup, you basically just click one button and it converts the file to a pdf file. I would definitely recommend this product, very user friendly.

This is a great product. It just saves documents as PDFs, which take up less space than other methods.

A good alternative to Adobe if you just need to occasionally create pdf files for publication.
