The wine finer works great to aerate a bottle of wine, but that's not even my favorite feature. Finally, my days of wiping a wine bottle edge with a napkin after each pour are over, and gone too is the risk that it will drip onto the carpet! The metal edge does a terrific job of keeping all the wine in the bottle unless it goes straight to the glass.

I've also used the Soirée, Vinturi, and this is by far my favorite. The Soirée is glass (worry about breakage) and you have to turn the bottle almost completely upside-down to effectively aerate (also no screen to catch sediments). The Vinturi is troublesome because you have to hold it above each glass (people often will skip using it).

The Nuance wine finer doubles as a pouring shield (no more drips) and sits conveniently in the neck of the bottle. There's a screen to catch sediments. And since it stays inside the bottle, you don't have to hunt down the aerator or remember to keep using it. The stopper is also handy.

Does it work? The short answer is yes. The wine does taste different and doesn't take as much time to open up. Still is no substitute for decanting and time though.

This wine aerator works so much better than the Venturi. And you can leave it in the bottle, and cap it off as well. So convenient.

I bought this for myself after my brother-in-law showed me one that he got for Christmas. It is an absolutely fantastic device that others have admired. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!

We love this wine finer. One thing...don't forget to take the cap off before putting it in the bottle or you will overflow the wine.

This is a great aerator - so good that we purchased a second one to keep in our suitcase for when we travel! It enhanced the taste of every red wine we have tried, and it is truly dripless. Would make a great gift to any wine lover.

We use this every time we have a glass of wine. It is a wonderful little product and got it at a great value.

I don't drink wine or anything alcoholic (why am I writing this review?) but I purchased this item for my parents since they are avid wine drinkers and have done the whole vacation in Sonoma and visited a few vineyards. They were amazed the first time they used the Nuance I figured I would at least give the item a decent review for others out there.

I bought one of these at an Ontario wine shop and loved it, so I bought one through Amazon for my brother who lives in the States. He's a scientific sort who decided to taste test the wine with and without the aerator. He said he could definitely taste the difference. I love how unobtrusively it sits in the bottle. I can aerate just what I drink, not a whole bottle at a time.
