Book Description

1886338035 978-1886338036 January 1, 1991 2nd
This is the first book published in the English language. Written and published by Aachan and Master teacher Anthony CMT, ND, MDAM. It is still the most exhaustive resource on the oldest and most traditional source of Thai Style bodywork, The Wat Po Style. Originally published as a working textbook for practitioners in 1984, this newer edition was updated in 1992 with additional information, illustrations and content. All other forms of Thai Body work are derivatives of this system. The book is actually a popular textbook and a practical teaching aid. It contains much information on the history and origins of the Thai work, as well as the philosophy that makes it unique. Copiously illustrated with both original photographs as well as hundreds of graphic illustrations. This is the book that started it all.

This review is from: Nuat Thai. Traditional Thai Medical Massage (Paperback)
Hard to follow . . . would recommend two other books instead: Thai Massage by Richard Gold and the Thai Massage Manual by Maria Mercati are both excellent choices,
