I love this CD. and been listening to this ever since its release in '93. The album gets started off right with the uptempo song "Don't Deny" and has a catchy tune. Nubia Soul showcases the trio's vocal harmonies as they sing with intimacy, heartfelt emotion and soul. A cool blend of dance, hip hop and R&B makes Nubia Soul a masterpiece. Featuring classic hits like "I Like It," and "I Cried The Tears." Their ballads "Tonight's the Night," and "I Wanna Kiss You" are beautiful and some of them are really heartfelt such as the song "After All This Love." This album showcases quality and all of the tracks are definately airplay worthy. Jomanda's vocals are clearly shown on the song "This Is Your Life," an uplifting dance tune that get's you movin'. Their harmonies are so tight and soulful. The ladies succeed solely on the basis of their vocal skills. This album has brought me many happy momments in my life. Their energy and strong vocals are beyond amazing. Though sadly, they seem to have disappeared.

Finally, Amazon has released this great album from the R&B/Soul, Club/Dance, House group Jomanda. There are great New Jack R&B songs like "Don't Deny" and intense house songs like "Life" and "I Cried the Tears". Any fan of the aformentioned music styles should give the cd a try. Also check out the groups' website with is the same name as the group.

Not for real Jomada fans!,

I'm guessing the record company forced them to make this set. It's a true disservice when artists step away from the genre that people love them for just for the sake of "crossing over". This album is full of uninspired generic R&B tunes. The only real standout is "I Cried The Tears". I wasted my money this and I don't recommend it.
