If you want to know about the Nubian's of southern Egypt, this is an interesting book to read - especially from a woman's perspective. I became interested because on my recent trip to this area when we visited the home of one of the women whose home Anne Jennings visited. If you've met these people, you would enjoy this book.

The area that the author made her research about, is my home village. I would like to discuss some issues presented in the book with the author. I will be grateful if you kindly inform the author to e-mail me her e-mail address. Thanks for your assistance.Adil A. Fakkir. |
