Product Description

The BPA FREE No-Spill Flip n Sip two handle cup is perfect for transitioning your child to straw drinking.  The No Spill Soft Silicone Straw runs down the base of the cup encouraging your child to hold the cup upright while drinking. The soft silicone straw is gentle to child’s tender gums and emerging teeth. The soft sipper straw is covered by an easy-to-use flip top cap. This uniquely designed feature keeps the straw clean when it is not in use. The sippy cup is great for travel and short trips! When child is ready to use the cup, the top cap simply “flips” back and rests in the lid of the cup. Liquids pass through straw only when your child sips.

From the Manufacturer

2-Handle No-Spill Flip n' sip cups are designed for active toddlers on the go and encourages them to drink from a straw. The unique silicone straw is no-spill, easy to use and promotes healthy drinking while the flip-it lid keeps it clean during travel. The easy grip handles with a unique contour shape are designed to fit their small hands. So all your toddler needs to do is flip-it, sip-it and seal-it.

Customer Reviews

Very easy to disassemble/assemble parts for cleaning.

My son will not drink from a "sippy" cup, and since this has the straw, it works perfectly.
Margaret Davis
Very hard for my daughter to suck out liquid from this straw.

i love nuby straw cups, both this one and the non-handled one. however there are a lot of areas to clean on this one, including the straw pieces. i use my dr. brown bottle pipe cleaner thing to slide inside the straws when cleaning. submerging the cup and lid into hot water will loosen particles of food that get trapped.

my one concern, when your child is teething. teething children gnaw on everything, and the handles & lid are NOT BPA free. my child started to chew on the handles and actually bit one of the rubber nubs off [i luckily got it before he swallowed it]. i have since put the handle cups away for after the "everything goes in my mouth" phase.

as for the drinking aspect of the cup, it isn't difficult to use. i started using these around 9 months and he had no problem. the straw uses compression to allow the liquid to come out, it also prevents it from spilling when not being used.

when reassembling, make sure you put the clear straw into the lid first, pull it until you hear a slight pop, and make sure it is over the hole. then push the white hard straw into the clear straw. it won't leak if you do it correctly.

overall, these cups are great if you are tired of helping your child lift up the sippy cup. the cleaning of them is just part of enjoying a product that let's your child drink independently. and cleaning them doesn't really take any more time than other cups i've tried.

I was really attracted by the design of this cup. I was looking for something my son wouldn't have to tip up to drink from since he is just starting out, and can't get his bottle up in the air. It's a nice size, and the handles are perfect, he took to it right away. The problem is that he wasn't really able to drink out of it. He got a little bit, but became really frustrated. After washing it, I tried it out myself, and it really isn't easy to use!! It relies on using your lips to squeeze the straw and then sucking to get the water out. No wonder he got frustrated! I am going to keep it around, and keep trying here and there to see if he gets it, but I wish it was a little easier for him to use.

I am deeply disappointed with these cups.
First of all, let me start with saying that it comes in a great size and has wonderful handles and a straw. This is the only cup my daughter liked when she was younger. She was able to drink out of it right away at the age of 10 months.
However, in a week it becomes a hassle to wash. Why would anyone come up with a design that has SO MANY CURVED surfaces and trenches? Someone who doesn't have kids, that's for sure. My daughter used it during lunch holding with hands dirty with food. Food then got everywhere in the cup, including places where it was impossible to dig out from. After a while, the lid accumulates grease, dirt and eventually starts smelling and looks disgusting.
The straw is impossible to wash inside. I used piper cleaners with a few paper towels wrapped around. The color of paper towel after cleaning was BROWN. This is how much dirt accumulates there.
Wonderful idea - POOR DESIGN. Hence, three stars.

My son is 10-months-old and his pediatrician wanted him to learn how to use a straw so I bought him this cup. I tried it first and realized that you have to bite the straw in a certain spot and suck at the same time in order to drink. It was too difficult for him to figure out, never having drank from a straw before.

I then bought him the Munchkin Straw Sippy Cup and he figured it out right away!

In conclusion, if your child is a straw sucking veteran, then this cup is really nice looking, well made and spill proof. However, if your baby is just starting out, it is a little too complicated to use and I would recommend the Munchkin cups (also spill proof)

I purchased this cup for my 12 month old daughter, and she immediately took to it. However, with more and more use, here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
-handles
-attached lid for safe/clean travel
-easy to assemble/wash
-liquid flows quite smoothly provided the mechanisms are assembled properly (if there is no flow, try not putting the white firm piece so far into the straw piece)

Cons:
-Leakage where the straw and lid are connected when the cup is used
-When the straw is bent under the lid, it can fill up with liquid (ie sticky milk!) and when you open the lid, the milk overflows. Trick is to anticipate it and open it over a sink or somewhere that you don't mind spilling milk on
-first one I had cracked by the handle and leaked EVERYWHERE before I noticed the crack
-a little bit of milk/liquid always stays in the top bit of the straw so if the baby drops the cup the milk splatters everywhere.

Despite its problems, the fact that my daughter really likes it and that it has a lid feature makes me keep going back to it. I just make sure to put a bib on my daughter when she drinks, and I keep a cloth handy to wipe up flying milk on the hardwood floors!

This cup has its flaws, but it's fairly inexpensive and since I don't think I'll find the perfect cup, I'm happy to work around its issues.
