Product Description

Product Description

Just when things couldn't get any slower on the nuclear war scare front, a band of demented terrorists steps up and offers to clear the landscape of a major metropolitan city or two. In Nuclear Strike, players take command of more than 10 military vehicles--from Apache helicopters and Harrier jets to ground-based hovercraft and tanks--on a daring set of missions to annihilate the bad old terrorists.

Players venture through 15 explosive missions in such exotic locales as Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. Each mission is unique, requiring pilots to offer air support for ground troops, drop off supplies within a heavily defended area, or carry out search-and-destroy operations, among other tasks. The arcade- style action is enhanced with smart enemy artificial intelligence, detailed graphics with brilliant special effects, and intuitive controls that keep players' trigger fingers happy. --Eric Twelker

4.0 out of 5 stars Great N64 Action Game January 3, 2000
By A Customer
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
This game is an extremely solid title that has been brought over from the playstation. This game's only downfall is that it is missing the movies from the PSX version. However, this boasts improved control over your vehicle, much better graphics and pyrotechnics, and the game has actually gained some fun points for some reason compared to the playstation version. I recommend this title. It doesn't get five starts due to NO multiplayer, but its still a great title.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some frustrations with a fun game February 26, 2014
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My biggest and only gripe is the amount of things youve gotta keep refilling. Especially when supporting ground troops and have to go all the way across the map for whatever you need. I get its more realistic-bla bla bla-but fuel bullets should be unlimited. NEVERTHELESS-your flying an apache! Who wouldnt love that!

4.0 out of 5 stars Action Fun January 22, 2001
By A Customer
The Strike games have been favorites of mine since Desert Strike on the sega genesis. This is a very good edition to the series with great action fun. I love the "old school" type action games myself so i might be slightly biased.

A Kid's Review
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
This game is probly not for kids from 4-10 years not that it has blood or anything but it`s just that it`s a bit confusing. I think it is mostly for teens and adults. Let me tell you some more things about this game. The graphics are good and the storyline...I don`t think it has any storyline. Also if your wondering what the rating is it`s rated E. Remember this game is mostly for teens and adults.
