I was at work one day and decided to borrow some music from someone else. He handed me this CD and I can only say that I was so impressed that I got onto Amazon.com and bought it that day! I know only a smattering of Spanish and nothing about current Latin American music, but these guitarists really create a lively and uplifting atmosphere that keeps me working at my desk even through the most boring tasks. I've literally replayed this over and over again on the same day and never been bored. If you are interested in trying something new, start with this CD.

It is a beautiful collection of boleros that remains true to the classic trio, Los Panchos. The surprise here is that the musicians are a trio of young men who simply amaze us with their talent and their music that even our grandparents can enjoy. The medley version (each track is a medley of two-three songs) can be a little annoying, but it also serves to showcase more songs. I hope this Trio will be inspired to produce more albums with more boleros.

I love it! The melodies and harmonies blend beautifully. It's the right cd for those special evenings with a loved one. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who loves smooth yet passionate boleros such as these. Listening to Los Tri-O takes me back to my vacation in Cancun with my husband, where we enjoyed the live performances of an amateur trio group that sang to us every evening.

Being a longtime fan of Trio Los Panchos, I was pleasantly suprised at how well--albeit with younger voices--their sound was recreated. One suggestion though, for the next album please record the entire song, rather than use the medley format.

Incredible! Amazing! My 21 year old son bought the cd, knowing that his older Uncles and Aunts as well as his mom, enjoy the boleros. I was a bit anxious at first - after seeing the cover. However as the music started playing, I had to do a doubletake - for indeed it is like the classic Los Panchos, but not quite with the sensitivity of Los Dandys. Muchachos muy bien - and we eagerly await album 2!!! and we would like to do a full review in our newspaper - anyway of getting in touch with the group????

I loved this new CD It is a hard to find item and it got to me fast at a reasonable price.

When I was in Puerto Rico in 2000, I purchased this CD and have been in love with this Tri-O ever since. I remember some of this music when I was a child and listening to my parents 'vinyl records'. It doesn't get better than that!

Until I purchased this CD, I thought all the romance that is normally associated with Mexican music was gone. What beautiful selections of music that tug at your heart-strings! I love listening to the old songs that I grew up with and sharing the sentiments with my mother and sister. This CD is a must for anyone who is in love!

This collection of "old boleros" is a tribute to romance and to the original interpreters of this type of music. These young men have real talent and good taste in selecting the music they are bringing to the public.

This is music for the ages. Played this cd for my grandparents and it brought my grandmother to tears as these three young artists reminded her of the classic Los Panchos. Fantastic that Los Tri-O have indroduced this romantic sound that will never go out of style to a whole new generation.
