I bought the CD because I watch the contest on TV so I wanted to hear these guys' voices in CD and they sing really good.
The songs are very nice, especially the ones written by Jesse and Joy.
The weird thing is that Yurem and Taide sing very different live but as a fan of RBD I imagine they'll get better.
It's rather amazing that the album was made in just 2 months! Anyway the CD seems better than the expected.
I hope that "La Nueva Banda Timbiriche" become very famous and this material is a good start.
The best songs are definately "Que Me Queda", "Depende", "Aunque Digas", and "Fin De Semana"

I highly recommend this to anyone who watched the show.

Felicito a los miembros del jurado, a los ex integrantes de la banda original Timbiriche y a Alejandra Guzmán, que intervinieron en el proceso de selección de los integrantes de La Nueva Banda Timbiriche que se transmitió por televisión, vi la mayor parte de los programas. Parece una contradicción darle a La Nueva Banda 3 estrellas y al mismo tiempo felicitar a los que seleccionaron a sus integrantes. Lo que pasó es que Televisa impuso a dos de los integrantes para atender las votaciones del público, y uno de ellos es un desastre, quien desafió al jurado con una expresión más o menos así "me vale si soy o no miembro de La Nueva Banda (I don't give a damn whether or not I'm a member of La Nueva Banda)". Él estaría mejor como bufón. A los del jurado y a Timbiriche tampoco les gustó, pues siempre le dieron las calificaciones más bajas. No menciono su nombre porque mi crítica es muy fuerte, y tampoco se trata de perjudicar a un muchacho. Además, las y los que siguieron las transmisiones por televisión saben muy bien a quien me refiero.

Si a La Nueva Banda le di 3 estrellas fue por Gaby (sin ella apenas le daría 1 estrella). Hasta cierto punto fue una lástima que Gaby formara parte de La Nueva Banda, porque su gran talento no está siendo aprovechado al máximo. A ella le sobran méritos para ser solista: canta excelentemente, tiene una gran personalidad, y por si eso fuera poco, es además muy sexy. Por eso me gustó la intervención especial de Alejandra Guzmán, porque después de escuchar una de las interpretaciones de Gaby, exclamó "guau". Creo que eso ayudó mucho a Gaby para formar parte de La Nueva Banda, pero insisto, me habría gustado mucho más que Gaby hubiera preferido ser solista, para escucharla en muchas más canciones.

A good start of this group. Brissia (the one w/ dark curly hair) left the group in 2008, leaving just 6 members currently. Hopefully, they'll do okay without her. She does sing on this album. Anyways, here are the


Songs you should turn up:
Depende 5/5 (Lead vocals by Gaby and one of the best songs on the album! Everyone sounds great at the chrous!)

En Cada latido- 5/5 Rivals Depende as the other best track. Sung by the girls. Beautiful lyrics and upbeat. Briss' voice soars beatifully at the chrous and at the end.

Anuque Digas- Solo song by Yurem. A very good upbeat pop song. 4/5

Songs you should turn off-

Intoxicado- It starts off as a fun dancey track but Yurems rap at the end wrecks the song. 1/5

Por que te vas? Just boring and too slow. A slow ballad. 2/5

El Nuevo Timbiriche- I guess this is the band's ''anthem'' but I hate this song. 1/5

In the middle: The rest of the songs were just okay to me. Kinda forgettable not enough ''jazz'' to make me remember them.

Overall, not a bad start for the band. The three songs are recommended are truly showcase the group really well. Some songs were stronger than others, but they're a long long way from being the next RBD. If you like new Spanish pop groups, this band might just work for you, for me, they're just okay. The vocals are good on this album, I just didn't like the arrangement of a lot of this songs.
