Excellent example of the "new" mariachi music,

With more than 20 years as a singer-actress, the beautiful mexican Diva delivers her fifth studio ranchero album with the title of "Un nuevo amor". This album includes 10 songs of different rhythms and topics, produced by three top names of the latin music scenario. Songs like "Que alguien me diga" (a cover, written by the talented salsa songwriter Omar Alfano), "Por ti" (written by the mexican singer and songwriter Oscar Chavez)and "Me gusta" (written by Marco Flores who has previously worked with Gloria Estefan and Thalia) are produced by Homero Patron, a well-known mexican producer who has been involved in the albums of other ranchero singers like Vicente and Alejandro Fernandez. This is the first time Lucero works with Patron and the result is just wonderful! A memorable song from this album is "Carta a Eufemia" which is a cover from the original song made popular years ago by the mexican idol, Pedro Infante. The writer and producer of this song is the same that worked with Infante, Ruben Fuentes, who has produced Lucero's prior ranchero albums. Estefano is a well-known singer, songwriter and producer that has delivered many hits for several latin singers, such as Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan and Chayanne. In Lucero's "Un nuevo amor" Estefano writes and produces two ranchero ballads, "Lo he intentado todo" and "A quien voy a engañar". With such a team of producers, songwriters and Lucero's impish voice, "Un nuevo amor" is a delightful album in which you can feel the hapiness of the mexican mariachi music. You can't imagine a cumbia performed by a mariachi band? Listen to "Como te voy a olvidar"...I bet you'll dance!! The songs deliver a wide variety of feelings, from sadness to happiness, from disdain to love. In conclusion, "Un nuevo amor" proves that Lucero is the most important international mexican female singer of ranchero music in the latin world.

Bad service. This is the worst seller ever. it's almost 3 months and no CD but it DID charge my account including Shipping charges. Do not buy anything from this seller
