The record 'Nuff Said! was recorded live the day after Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated. Nina Simone's performance is a unique testament of that era combining an excellent performance with genuine emotions. Her voice delivers the songs with dignity, achieving a quality I haven't heard on any of her other live recording since. Nearly forty years onwards it proves the outstanding qualities of this often misunderstood lady.

Nina Simone is one of my favorite artists of all time. This is another gorgeous album in a long line of gorgeous albums. This is a live taping from a music fair and was taped shortly after MLK's death. You can hear the emotion in Nina Simone's voice. The album has a good mix of slow and upbeat songs. This is certainly Ms. Simone at her best.

I already had the Vinyl LP by Nina, but I bought the CD to get a version with less "Scratchiness"/static. In any case, this is some of (The late) Ms Simone's best work - I'm a longtime fan of hers so I'm very familiar with her recordings.

I can't review this CD because it didn't arrive at home yet - after more than one month of purchasing.
