Well, dudes surprising most of you all, Mauro Picotto DOES NOT spin OR produce HARD TRANCE. Mauro Picotto spins OR produces TECH-TRACNE or, TECHNO-TRANCE as you wish, which is a gap between techno and trance and even some house influences tend to appear in his songs.
He's very good indeed and this cd for sure rocks. Its very good, has excelent tracks - alltough MP gets too much melodic sometimes... but yes, its worth buying, and its worth having it in a decent techno/trance/eletronic music collection.

When it comes to real club like hard trance, Picotto is tough to beat. This album packs songs that get played today (2002)in the top clubs in Miami 2 Years after their release...is this guy ahead of his time or what !! Songs like "Dolphin", "Oasis", "Tuareg", "Imagine" and "See the Light" all pack a serious punch that rips through your chest like your standing in front of the DJ's speakers on a late Saturday night session !! His transitions are thoughtful...you get the feeling that Mauro wants you to keep this cd in your deck for a spur of the moment party or for that tough ride home in traffic !! CD 1 is my favorite...it journeys through dark throbbing valleys then rises up for air at just the right time !! Mauro also experiments with just a dash of funk....but not to much as to spoil the mix !! The Lizard Man invites you to dance with his fast and furious 2 disk session !! It definitely gets my trademark "5 lollie" rating !!

If you like Hard Trance, Mauro Picotto is who you should be looking for. This is my favorite see CD I own. I recomend this CD for everyone who is even a little into Hard Trance!
