First of all, the liner notes of this compilation call it a 'greatest hits' collection, but that is far from the truth. The few tracks on this CD that you would see on a best of mix-'Cars', 'Down In tHe Park'- are live; this fact makes the CD even better because the three live tracks, which also includes 'Replicas', are brilliant interpretations of the originals; take for instance the super dancey hard rock mix of 'Cars'.

There are also four tracks from 'Pure'; the version of the title track is a different mix than my album version, so it may be worth while for completists to check it out.

What's really strange is to see 'Creatures' and 'Puppets' on this mix. Both from The Fury, 'Puppets' is actually a b-side from said under-rated album.

If you're looking for a casual listeners' mix of Numan's work, this isn't it at all, but is worth 4 stars and the price for the few rarer live tracks and b-side.
