Total Control Performance Controller
Numark's portable Total Control is a powerful control surface for performing and producing with DJ software. The time-tested layout works just like two decks and a mixer, making it both easy to learn and capable of advanced technique.

It has two deck controller sections with large jog wheels and transports controls so whether you're used to a CD player, turntables, or any other traditional DJ hardware, you'll find getting around easy. The center of Total Control's surface is its mixer section with a smooth crossfader, line faders, deck EQs, and more advanced controls for looping and effects.

The Total Control connects to your Mac or PC as a class-compliant USB device so it requires no software drivers to work, and USB powers it so you won't need an external supply.

HF125 Headphones
If you're a DJ, you know that your headphones are one of the most important pieces of gear you have. The Numark HF125 headphone delivers the goods with flexible 7-position independently adjustable dual ear cups, large 40mm Mylar speaker drivers, 6-foot tangle-resistant cord with 1/4-inch connector, and padded headband and ear cups. All connecting cables and power cables included, and it also comes with a convenient carrying case.

DJ I/O Audio Interface
A compact, portable audio interface expressly designed for DJs, mobile music producers and other musicians who work with computers, the Numark DJ I/O connects easily with a standard USB cable to the computer and supplies extremely high-quality, 24-bit audio to output systems. Compact and rugged enough to live in your gig bag, it has RCA stereo outputs and a headphone output so you can cue and output your main mix simultaneously. It also has a 1/4-inch mic input so you can be the life of the party.

You can use DJ I/O with Mac OS X, Windows XP, or Vista. Both 32 and 64-bit Windows are compatible. The USB device is bus-powered so no additional power supply is needed, and you can optionally power the DJ I/O using a six-volt AC adapter (sold separately).

Traktor LE Software
Native Instruments Traktor LE software, based on Traktor Pro gives you four optional layouts, including cover art. You'll enjoy new Beatgrid Editing and saving with locked sync for precise performance. New in Traktor LE is manual looping and selectable loop length for flexible loop integration. Additionally, Traktor LE gives you a choice of effects per deck including filter, delay, reverb and flanger.

Got this product and was a little disappointed with the jog wheels. If you've ever used real turntables before there is a lack of real movement in the fact that when I would mix in a song, I'd scratch the jog wheel and let go and there was a lag before the song came into the mix as opposed to real turntables. But, I do understand these aren't real turntables, so if you're into just a laptop set this is pretty cool for the price, but don't expect to do super great mixes because there is a lag with the jog wheel.

I usually don't write reviews, but they helped me buy this product so I figured I would write one of my own. When the package arrived it was obvious the product was new. The set up was extremely easy. Its plug and play, except for the Traktor software which I personally did not like. Its also not the full version, so your limited to what you can do. I have been using Virtual DJ and used it with the numark and it worked with no problems. I am a new DJ and would recommend this product to anyone who is starting off. This is a great learning system and for the cost you cant beat it.

and with the Total Computer DJ in a Box my dream has been fulfilled. This really is a great starter dj kit without breaking the bank. Great options included for the beginner. Just make sure you update to the professional software (Traktor or Virtual DJ) to take full advantage you have at your disposal. This is a wonderful Christmas gift!
