Got this product and was a little disappointed with the jog wheels. If you've ever used real turntables before there is a lack of real movement in the fact that when I would mix in a song, I'd scratch the jog wheel and let go and there was a lag before the song came into the mix as opposed to real turntables. But, I do understand these aren't real turntables, so if you're into just a laptop set this is pretty cool for the price, but don't expect to do super great mixes because there is a lag with the jog wheel.

I usually don't write reviews, but they helped me buy this product so I figured I would write one of my own. When the package arrived it was obvious the product was new. The set up was extremely easy. Its plug and play, except for the Traktor software which I personally did not like. Its also not the full version, so your limited to what you can do. I have been using Virtual DJ and used it with the numark and it worked with no problems. I am a new DJ and would recommend this product to anyone who is starting off. This is a great learning system and for the cost you cant beat it.

and with the Total Computer DJ in a Box my dream has been fulfilled. This really is a great starter dj kit without breaking the bank. Great options included for the beginner. Just make sure you update to the professional software (Traktor or Virtual DJ) to take full advantage you have at your disposal. This is a wonderful Christmas gift!

This system works very well and it is extremely simple to use. The Pots or knobs are smooth and precised. The sound effects incorporated in the system are a must have. Lastly, the head phones do an ok job for starters. I also recommend buying from the seller as the unit came in sealed and without a single scratch.

The numark console work good. The Tracktor software is the LE (light) version. About half of the operations does not work because of this. This should have been pointed out better in description. I fault Amazon for this.

A fun and inexpensive dj system. Pretty solid for starters. You would be required to upgrade to Traktor Pro ($139) to take advantage of its full capabilities. Sound card is solid.

I bought this product just a few weeks ago through a company that will ship items from USA to my country. I checked that the product was new and everything was ok until I tried to register the software. It says that the serial number has been registered using another account, that means the box was opened and the serial key was stolen.

The product works perfectly and it is really good for beginners to become DJ's. I will recomend contacting the seller to make sure the serial key is working. I'm trying to contact Numark to fix this issue, but they just opened a ticket and then never answer to my complain.

I truly recomend this product for beginners, but be aware of make sure that the serial key works or you will have to buy aditional software.

Compré este producto hace unas semanas a través de una compañía que trae productos de Estados Unidos a mi país. Verifiqué que el producto estuviera nuevo y que todo estuviera bien hasta que intenté registrar el software. Obtuve un mensaje de que el número de serie había sido registrado a través de otra cuenta, lo que significa que la caja fue abierta y el número de serie del software fué robado.

El producto funciona perfectamente y es escelente para novatos que quieren convertirse en DJs. Recomiendo contactar al vendedor para asegurar que el número de serie del software funcione. Estoy intentando contactar a Numaark para que solucionen este problema, pero solo abrieron un ticket y nunca dieron seguimiento al problema.

Realmente recomiendo este producto para novatos, pero asegurense de que el número de serie funciona o tendrán que comprar software adicional.

I'll admit it - i was really excited by the prospect of a usb mixer AND a usb audio interface for under $250. So i ordered it, paid the $4 for one-night shipping, and eagerly rushed back from work today to play with my new toy.

First of all, the box has been visibly opened before, so obviously not a new product. I pop in the included Traktor LE software disk and what do you know - the disk is unreadable. I have tried accessing the disk using a brand new Mac Pro, a 24" iMac both with working cd drives, and the disc is a coaster. Great. Especially because for some inexplicable reason neither Newmark or Native Instruments DO NOT OFFER TRAKTOR LE for download.

Then I try installing the drivers for the DJIO audio interface. Restart my Mac, boom - kernel panic. Don't even get the chance to run the uninstaller. I try restarting again - immediate kernel panic. Finally i unplug the DJIO, and all is well. As it turns out, this is a problem that ALL users of the DJIO have with Mac OS X 10.5.6. According to the Numark website, a fix is coming soon - for an OS X update that is now well over a month and a half old. Great.

So lets recap

- Visibly opened box
- Damaged software install disc (for software unavailable online)
- Mandatory drivers that cause a kernel panic on 10.5.6, an update that came out 6 weeks ago

Need i say more? Do not buy this product under any circumstances. Will be returning to Amazon and purchasing equipment by another manufacturer.

Ok first thing: This is a bait and switch -
1) You think it's new but it's not,
2) I ordered it for a gift, brand NEW - that's what I thought - not so!!!
3) When opened, I found out it had been registered to a prior owner!!!
4) Without the passwords, I could not operate it!!!
5) Then tried to return it, and had to go through ANOTHER company.
6) In order to return it, I had to get a RMA number from the other company or they will not accept it.
7) Then the company said they will only refund me the "CURRENT" cost.
8) Which means I paid $260.76 I will only get back what it cost the day they get it back, and if the price is lower - I'm screwed!!!
9) All this headache and I still didn't get a chance to use it - "Thank you Amazon.com for sticking it to me."
10) Trust me this is not worth the trouble order it from NUAMRK directly!!!

I bought the total control for my child because he is seriously into music. I get my package only to find out the total control was all scratched up. I did not order a used one, I ordered a new one. I did not know new packages come scratched up these days.
