5.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't buy anything else
I've used Henry Numatic vacuum cleaners for approximately 25 years. Maybe I've been lucky, but I've never had a bad one and have purchased them for several properties with tenants too. I find them foolproof, efficient and reliable. Able to clean up contractor's dust, reach high ceilings, perform SO much better than any upright I ever tried/borrowed. Yes, they might have...

1.0 out of 5 stars Like vacuuming with a large stone attached to a rope
This is a wretched, non-ergonomic product that is cheaply made, clunky, cumbersome and outright difficult to use. I don't care if The Queen owns one. Her Majesty does not vacuum. The head of the machine broke within weeks. The wheels are bad; dragging it around it like pulling a large stone at the end of a rope. The various parts are sharp and actually can cut into...

This review is from: Numatic Henry Micro HVR-200M Vacuum (Kitchen)
I've used Henry Numatic vacuum cleaners for approximately 25 years. Maybe I've been lucky, but I've never had a bad one and have purchased them for several properties with tenants too. I find them foolproof, efficient and reliable. Able to clean up contractor's dust, reach high ceilings, perform SO much better than any upright I ever tried/borrowed. Yes, they might have problems going around corners, but any other vacuum cleaner would have to be steered around a corner too (it might have a face but it isn't human). I did have to replace the main vacuum tool after 15 years on one. But to me they are worth their weight in gold.

The various parts are sharp and actually can cut into you when you try to use them. The hose often just pops off the "nose" of the "face." It cannot be dragged around corners. It cannot roll over its own power cord (it is an obstacle to itself!). It is also heavy and cumbersome to carry, despite its handle, shaped like a half-circle rather than anything that could fit comfortably into a human hand. The only thing is does well is smile contemptuously at you as you curse it for making a difficult job impossible.
