Run to the shops, July 18, 2005

Well I can't say much more about this album than the other guys have already said, except to say that the negative reviews seem to be of a non-constructive nature all I can say guys is that all forms of art be it music or other forms all borrow and steal from other genres thats the way we evolve nuff said on that. NOTB did it for me when I was a kid and still does so now although I can't bang my head to it now as much as I could do .If you're curious about Maiden then buy this album but don't be fooled into thinking that the albums after 7th son are any good though there are a few shiners dotted around in the later albums. NOTB a classic would'nt you agree?

Only one fault!, May 26, 2002
This review is from: Number of the Beast (Vinyl Replica) (Dig) (Audio CD)
Well, no denying it, this is what made Iron Maiden famous. I think the previous reviewer had it all covered, but i must just state that this limited edition comes with the song "Total Eclipse" (Not on the original vinyl, which i happen to own). Total Eclipse is worth buying it for, but you got 3 other of the most famous maiden songs ever -- Run To The Hills, Number of the Beast, and Hallowed Be Thy Name. Of course the others are good, too.. 22, Acica Ave., Prisoner, Invaders, etc.
Now what was that one fault?
Gangland. Not that it's really bad, it just doesnt feel right. If it had another song on there instead of Gangland, it'd be an even better CD.
