GREAT Knowledge Book For KIDS

Jane Jones Wrote :

"The uses of the book for preschool children to use to each about their
self-image, body parts to start an art lesson for a self-portrait or to
talk about some of the animals in the book for a science lesson
integrated into a literacy lesson about a book that is a fact book or
non-fiction. The creative preschool teacher could use this little book
to trigger many hands-on activities to foster higher level thinking
skills and problem solving."

Tip for Parents :
Read it to your kids, explain them, show them examples !!! They WILL LOVE IT

Few Words from "TheBrothers"

" As parents we want the best for our children.
This book is about acquiring knowledge. We wrote this book in a very unique, fun and interesting way in order to enable you, as a parent, to read, learn and explain these new facts to your children.

It took us a long time and a lot of effort to investigate, discover and bring you the most interesting and amazing facts.

Each book includes a different number which is associated with facts that contain this number, as we said before, it is unique.

Read it the book to your children, speak to them about it and explain it to them.

" Knowledge is a familiarity with someone or something, which can
include facts, information, descriptions, or skills acquired through
experience or education " .... Wikipedia.

Thank goodness for The Brothers! Not only do they continue creating books such as LEO SUPERHERO, I WANNA BE…A FIREFIGHTER as colorful stories for youngsters, but the have launched a very, VERY important series that combines learning with discovery of information that opens new windows for exploration and for discussion with parents and friends. This series is bound to start winning awards – it is just that good and that successful. Each book takes a number, deals with body parts that coincide with that number and then goes out into the world of animals and other facts, each illustrated with excellent photographs!

NUMBER FOUR WORLD FACTS happily opens with the fact that the spelling of the number 4 has four letters and off we go. We are shown and informed that the moon has four phases, the compass has four points, and there are four seasons (and ‘the different seasons are a result of the 23.5 degree tilt of the earth’s axis. The earth spins around the sun causing different amounts of sunlight to reach the earth at different times during the year’ - that is how much information is shared and it is info likely parents will say ‘oh, really..?).

“Number FOUR World Facts” written and illustrated by TheBrothers is new addition in the educational book series for young children that have the numbers for its theme.
But what is even more important is the fact that besides learning many interesting things children will become motivated to further reading and research.
Therefore this book together with other books in series can be seen as the starting point that can take kids in a variety of entertaining paths.

This edition for its theme has number four and authors connect it to numerous interesting facts from world around us like four seasons of the year, four types of teeth, four alchemical elements, four wheels and many others.
Each of the presented facts is illustrated with nice photograph or drawn picture that takes half of the page, while on the rest space the authors put some useful information about particular fact that children can find intriguing, encourage them to further reading.

The authors didn’t restrict the areas from which they drew data so children can find information about animals, sports, human body, science, school and many other fields.

Therefore, this innovative, entertaining and educational book together with other titles from series can be fully recommended for preschool children who will learn a lot from books and certainly having lot of questions that will encourage them to further reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Four Is The Word December 6, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
IThe Brothers are two fathers who have heard and tried to answer every question their children have asked. They want the best for their children. And, acquiring knowledge is one way to help this occur. They wrote this book in a fun manner so that parents can read, learn and explain these new facts to their children..one important fact from this book is that reading outloud to your children accelerates brain development.

Number One, Number Two, Number Three and now, Number Four Facts In the World, are introduced by The Brothers. One through three were full of silly, interesting and knowledgeable facts, and now we have Number Four. Fun and formative facts abound, the number four, is the only number with four letters in it's word. That is the start of this book that provides children with all of the facts about number four that anyone would want to know.

There are four seasons, every insect but the fly has four wings, try and think of all the things in the world that have four in them open your child's imagination and yours by discussing the number four while reading this book. I love this series, my granddaughter likes for me to read to her and these books are so much fun. Note: I was given this book to read and review.

The best thing about this book is that it gets you to think of more No 4 facts. Otherwise just a good filler to read for something different.

More About the Author

The Brothers is a publishing company that was established by two married fathers of young children.

"As parents we have encountered quite a few questions and our children's thirst for knowledge and their need to receive answers to their questions - right here and right now. We have put our experience in inventing stories and storytelling to use. We pour heaps of imagination into our stories and most importantly we provide the children with the correct tools to deal with the day-to-day issues of the world. This is the reason that we write these books, we want the children, ours and yours, to explore, to be able to cope and to make use of knowledge, tools and wisdom to solve problems and cope in our world."
