I really like these books. The only thing is I wish they would have included more. It stops introducing numbers at 10 and then skips to higher numbers. I wish it would have continued to 20 before it skipped to the higher numbers. I do really like these though. My 3 yr old likes them. I also have the Alphatales and they are really really good!!

I love Scholastic Number Tales they are cute engaging stories that teach numbers to those kids who are reluctant in learning them. I had tried everything with my 4 yr. old son he just wasn't catching on to number recognition. Then after the purchase of these books(which come with reproducible books that your child can color and read along with you) I notice he now equates the number 4 for instance with 4 fiddlers (one of the stories) and so on and so forth.
