If you're an Odd Future fan, this is a must buy. This is Mellowhype's most consistent effort to date. Hodgy and Left have matured as a duo. Better lyrics and better production. This album won't disappoint.
Standout Tracks:
-65/Breakfast
-Under 2
-666 ft. Mike G
-Astro ft. Frank Ocean
-P2 ft. Earl Sweatshirt

Love it. Shows just how far MellowHype has come in their beats and lyrics. Wish there was more songs honestly but just makes me look forward to hearing more

What can I say? Simply outstanding in my opinion, lyrically and musically. If you know these guys at all (domo, hodgy, tyler, OF, etc.) you will like this and probably already have all their music. I lot of their stuff is on youtube. I actually wish they sold the instrumental version of this CD. There isn't one song that I don't like, well except for 666, it is just ok to me. A lot of my friends say that real hip hop is nonexistent these days, but I say they are just not looking/listening in the right places. You will NOT find anything of this caliber on the radio, and that's the way they like it. Do yourself a favor and become familiar with these guys.

The duo MellowHype, of Collective alterative rap group Odd Future, did a great job defining their sound with the Numbers album. With funky, unique bass heavy beats provided by MellowHype producer Left Brain and cleaver word play by witty lyricist Hodgy Beats, the two gave die-hard Odd Future fans something new and exciting to listen to. They Brought something new to the table as said in the first line of track one Grill. Listeners get a chance to see the progression of the group when dealing with new fame, Hodgy becoming a father, adolescent love, beautiful foreign women, growing up, social unrest, bragging rights, and being hyped up for any occasion. With only three tracks featuring other artists, who happen to be a part of Odd Future group, shows that MellowHype is staying true to their beliefs in that they do not need outside help to reach their intended audience. MellowHype is signed underneath independent record label Odd Future LLC run by ringleader Tyler, The Creator. Because of the independence of MellowHype's artistry and knowing that the major music industry had absolutely no say in what should go in and what should stay out, the music stays very creative and organic and everything is exactly how Hodgy and Left want it.

This album is a must buy for all Odd Future fans of course but it would also be a very good album to introduce Odd Future to those who are between the ages of roughly 15 to 22 who like staying true to yourself, being weird, being a hippy, loving Hip-Hop, hating the radio station, being creative, and listening to music that will for sure upset your parents (unless your parents are radical). Someone might consider buying this album because the creativity within the lyrics and producing.

For the longest time I been saying I had to buy this album. Some songs just too prefect and the other well I just skipped it cause I wasn't feeling it. I listen to Black and White album and compare to Numbers is about the same. Both have that one song I like while the others if it come on will listen to but not enjoy it like the that one song. If you listen to OF or like HodgyBeats then you have to get this album

This is pretty dope project from mellowhype. To start off the beats are always banging from start to finish thanks to Left Brain and Hodgy is spitting all the way through. This is probably my favorite project coming from Mellowhype. If you are a fan of OF or Mellowhype u want be disappointed.
