Editorial Reviews

Review

“Shelley K. Wall calculates a successfully suspenseful romantic tale with this digital page-turner. I loved the supporting characters as they added a fantastic depth to the story. I’m looking forward to seeing what else this author has to offer and if it is half as interesting as this story it will be well worth picking up.” --Night Owl Reviews

“This was one of those reads that had it all; a heavy dose of suspense that kept me glued to the edge of my seat, enough action to make me want to scream out load and a lovely touch of mystery and romance. I recommend this one for everyone and anyone, you will not be disappointed. Think John Grisham meets romance with a twist with a touch of Mission Impossible!” --Harlequin Junkie"

“Corporate shenanigans, betrayal and a happy ever after are all highlighted in this exciting thriller by Wall. Additionally, there’s enough technical jargon to give credence to the story without overwhelming the reader.” --RT Book Reviews"

". . . a satisfying read that had me hooked from the start. Shelley offers a clever plot with the right blend of suspense, mystery and romance . . . An entertaining page turner, I give the author credit for some surprising twists and turns along the way." -- Amanda Shalaby, Author of Rhianna

"Numbers Never Lie is a great blend of legal thriller and romance. I loved the hero, Trev . . . This book had shades of John Grisham tinged with the passion that a shared, intense experience can bring two people." --Micah Persell, Author of Of Eternal Life"

This was one of those reads that had it all; a heavy dose of suspense that kept me glued to the edge of my seat, enough action to make me want to scream out load and a lovely touch of mystery and romance.

Having never read a book by this author before but being a fan of suspense novels I took the bait when asked to review this one. The characters were fun and I really liked reading about them. The author captured my attention from the start and did a stunning job at keeping it.

When asked to describe this one there are many words that come to mind action packed, passion filled, stunning, fabulous the list goes on and on and yet none of those feel like they do the book justice.

I recommend this one for everyone and anyone, you will not be disappointed. Think John Grisham meets romance with a twist with a touch of Mission Impossible! :)

Numbers never lie is a fast paced romantic thriller with a ripped from the headlines sensibility. As FBI agent Trev investigates a case of embezzlement, he finds himself falling for the chief suspect, accountant Sophie. The two characters sizzle and Wall created a believable crime and characters. I particularly liked the way she made use of setting throughout the book.

Numbers Never Lie is a fabulous novel. I stayed up most of the night anxious to finish the book, only to regret not having more to read the next day. Shelley Wall has created fully credible characters that you root for through all the unexpected twists. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys their suspense novels with a liberal dose of sensuous romance.

Numbers Never Lie is a satisfying read that had me hooked from the start. Shelley K. Wall offers a clever plot with the right blend of suspense, mystery and romance. Trev and Sophie, as hero and heroine, are genuinely likeable, believable and you quickly grow to care about them - not to mention the romantic tension between them that makes the novel unputdownable. I read this novel in two days, and would have finished it much quicker but for weekend obligations. An entertaining page turner, I give the author credit for some surprising twists and turns along the way that I was not able to figure out ahead of time.

Federal agent Trevan thought he had it all under control. That is until he had to keep an eye on suspected embezzler Sophie Henderson. He tries to keep his distance but before too long she is getting under his skin in more ways then one. The heat keeps going up between them as he works hard to prove if she is guilty or innocent. I really enjoyed this book, it had great suspense and the chemistry between Trev and Sophie is HOT!

Numbers Never Lie was a great, quick read. The romance was so sweet as federal agent Trevan Prater falls for the very woman he's been assigned to watch and protect. Sophie Henderson is a suspect but soon becomes targeted, her life in danger, when she starts noticing abnormalities in her companies financial data. Now it's up to Trev to figure out who is after her, who's behind the financial scam, and keep her safe. Not to mention as he grows closer to finding his answers, he's also growing closer to Sophie. And the chemistry between them is undeniable.
This book had great twists and turns that will keep you guessing till the very end.

Numbers Never Lie is a great blend of legal thriller and romance. I loved the hero, Trev, who portrayed himself as a controlled, take-charge man, but who quickly became an uncontrollable, take-charge man around the heroine, Sophie. This book had shades of John Grisham tinged with the passion that a shared, intense experience can bring two people.

Numbers Never Lie (Crimson Romance)
This was an ok romance. It had likable characters. The hero wasn't overbearing. The heroine didn't do really stupid things that got her in danger. She was tough but not stupid. I was able to connect to the characters and cared if they got together. Of course he was keeping a secret that would break them up. But she got over it pretty quickly.
