Great covers by The Postmarks, December 9, 2008

The first time I heard The Postmarks was when Rodney Bingenheimer (Rodney on the ROQ) played their version of The Ramones' 7-11. He also played their version of Blondie's 11:59 during his segment. I loved both songs and had to have them. This is an entire album of cover songs. The clever and fun pattern of the album's layout being that the album's track number is contained in the song they're covering. For example, track #11 is Blondie's 11:59.
This is a great album with my personal favorites being 7-11 and 11:59. The Postmarks are an indie band from Florida. They have a great sound and will hopefully continue to make great music.
