This review is from: Numerical Methods, Algorithms and Tools in C# (Hardcover)
-In code, bottom page 16, "var" should be "var2"
-In code, top of page 17, uses "int, i, j" in an example about "string, x, y" -in text, page 18, "...the variable i can accept a all the values" -in code, page 19, missing quotation marks -in code, page 22, "In32" should be "Int32" -in code, page 23, uses "i" and "I" interchangeably (case matters in c#) -in code, page 32, "intefaces" should be "interfaces" -in text, page 57, "The latter contains contains interfaces..." These errors aren't even all the errors in chapter 1, let alone the rest of the book. This lack of attention to detail is inexcusable. This book must have been rushed to meet a deadline. It should not have been published in its current state. Do not purchase this edition of this book. The book's purpose is to solve complex mathematical problems through C# programming - but its coded examples often will not compile due to these careless mistakes. If the author was not able to catch these simple mistakes, I do not trust his ability to avoid mistakes in the more complex areas. |
