Well presented and well written, I could not agree with all of Mr Shine's work, but its quality for an introductory level work is beyond other criticism

I've read this book many times, and I get fascinated every time. It really helps me, explaining who I am, and how my friends are. Without this book, I would have seen the world in another way

l loved this book but i wish he would have gone more into the absence of circles on numbers but all in all i loved

The book is very clear and concise on the basic concepts of name, fate and destiny numbers. His technique of cirlce diagrams is also a great way to visualize numerology at work in your name. The author opens to the door to consider the stellar connection of astrology and numerology as well as ending with a nice piece on life cycles (history repeats itself).

I read the book 4 times. And I still dont understand the numbers are first to be energy sources. A circle is drawn around a number each time that a number occurs in the name. I did my name 3 time. And I still can'nt interpret my chart.

Norman Shine's book is an excellent numerology book that coducts you through the understand of self by the numbers.

It is about how you use and transfer the energy in your birth name. Norman Shine is with out a doubt one of the most gifted occultists that I have ever read or met. It takes some practice to understand how to use his system, but once you do you will know immediately who the person in front of you is, by understanding the numbers in his/her name and how this person uses their energy.

You could do worse than spending time with books written by this author.

I found this book to be an excellent way to see the relationship of the name to the energies in the numbers. His system also helps one to see the relationship between the numbers themselves. A great book for someone already associated with the basic meanings of the numbers, and it makes for excellent party conversation.
