I became a fan of green tea when my Navy duties took me to Japan and Korea. In Japan, particularly, I learned a little about the differences in green teas (shade-grown, finely ground, and so on). Since returning to my land-locked home in the Rockies, the only good green tea I've been able to get my hands on has been through mail order. (If you're drinking Lipton brand green tea and have judged green tea accordingly, you really are missing out...)

This is the first green tea in a bag (as opposed to loose leaf) that really reminds me of the good teas I had in Japan. At work, I don't make time to pre-heat my tea pot and my tea cups and brew it "properly," so I really appreciate a delicious tea in the convenience of a bag, and if you like green tea, I'm certain you'll like this one!

...and I've tried quite a few. I tried over 30 varieties of green tea bags searching for a good cup, and this one takes the crumpet! The flavor is strong but mild, the color golden brown, and the aroma is light. I threw out all the others (or rather I gave them to my father-in-law who also like tea) when I found this one and I bought a case of it...

I was already a fan of Numi's Morning Rise and Monkey King Jasmine teas, but their Gunpowder Green tea is an absolute standout. Sure, it's in a teabag, but you can see that there is 'real' tea in there, not just tea dust. You will not be disappointed with this tea.

This brand of Green Tea is my choice of drink at my favorite coffee shop so I was pleasantly suprised to see this item being sold here. I can now enjoy a great cup of tea at home and at work! It has a smooth flavor with no bitter after taste. Its great with steamed milk.

This tea is wonderful for those fans of green tea. It was actually a gift for my son who is a green tea lover. He says it is one of the best teas he has tried.

I followed the package brewing instruction, and it is the best green tea I had so far - not bitter and no after taste. It is easy on the stomach too. It has a mild flavor and I really enjoy drinking it.

This tea is wonderful! "Temple of Heaven" green tea (a gunpowder style) is pretty darn hard to find anywhere else, and this one of the best I've tried.

It has a very full-bodied mouth-feel, and a warmish smokey flavor without being too bitter like other gunpowders often tend to be. Oh, and it's whole-leaf too! (None of that powdered stuff here!!) It steeps equally well in the bag it comes in, or removed from the bag to brew loose to add to your favorite blend.

For an extra treat and a nutritional & mental boost, try brewing one bag of this with one bag of Wisdom Of The Ancients Yerba Mate Tea - 25 Bags. I can't start my day without a mug of this combo.

I love this green tea i got hooked on it while at work a coffee shop around the corner carried it. I've been out of work and missed it terrible went on Amazon.com and found it!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this green tea !!!
