Kurdish delight, August 4, 2009

I first fell in love with Aynur watching Fatih Akin's DVD "Crossing the Bridge:the Sound of Istanbul", while prepping for a trip to Turkey a few years back.
So could hardly wait to get back to the States in order to hear my prize: this CD purchased, yes, in Istanbul.
She's contagious; my granddaughters immediately tucked her into their ipods, my daughters burned her into CDs.
Please spread the word -- so this young, promising Kurdish performer can become viral (and distribute another album soon).
