Originally released as Nena's DEFINITIVE COLLECTION single cd album in 1996, NUR GETRAEUMT--IHRE GROESSTEN ERFOLGE was first released in this new format in 1998 with a new booklet. This booklet contains nice photos/pictures of Nena and a lot of information about her career from 1982 to 1992. Unfortunately, this version was not released outside of Germany until this year. Since the list of songs in this album have not yet been listed, please allow me to list them down for you here together with their corresponding English translations:

With regard to the songs compiled for this album, I would personally prefer to have the double cd version of Nena's DEFINITIVE COLLECTION, but the new booklet of NUR GETRAEUMT--IHRE GROESSTEN ERFOLGE might make it worth purchasing in the eyes of die-hard Nena fans. To those who cannot get the double cd version of Nena's DEFINITIVE COLLECTION, I would certainly recommend getting NUR GETRAEUMT--IHRE GROESSTEN ERFOLGE instead.

I sincerely hope that this review has been helpful to you in terms of deciding on either getting this Nena compilation album or not.

I've been a fan of Nena ever since 99 Luftballoons first came out in the 80's. Most of their albums are made up of the same core group of songs with one or two new ones thrown in. This album is rightly titled as their best, and only the best, of Nena.

I recently ordered this CD and love it. Being born and raised in Germany, what I especially like about this CD is that Hit song 99 Luftballons is on there in the original version and not in the English version which is not as good in my opinion.

The songs are mostly party like, upbeat music that is easy to listen to.

I do not understand why my review of this album, which is accessible in another entry of the same album title, cannot be accessed here. I would advise you to skip this entry and proceed to the next one with the same title and which also has my review.
