I very much enjoy this book! The writing is insightful and the photography is first rate.
Clive Barnes actually knew Nureyev and it shows in his writing
I really appreciate the fact that Mr. Barnes did not delve into the personal private life in an over sensationalized manner.
Too many books on Nureyev tend to make his talent as a dancer, choreographer and director second to his personal and yes colorful personal life.

Interesting book. Gives an insight to Nureyev as a person, not just a beautiful performer. Had a friend who picked it up from my coffee table and made us late for a dinner engagement because he couldn't put it down.
