My 4-month-old daughter absolutely LOVES this book/CD set and any other Priddy Book I've ever purchased for her. They are truly the BEST books for young babies (and I've bought MANY), because they capture and hold their attention for longer periods of time, without over-stimulating her. I can already tell she's going to love reading--but maybe I'm just a proud mama. Thanks Priddy Books!

My 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 yr old boys (eldest with Down's Syndrome) love these books. We've been singing the songs every night before bedtime over the last month. The 2 1/2 yr old loves to see the words to the songs as we sing. My eldest is just starting to sing whole song phrases rather than just the last word of each sentance, which is exciting.

My 2 year old fell in love with this book at his day care. When he received it from the Easter Bunny, it went everywhere he went. It is great letting the CD "read/sing"the nursery rhymes.

I haven't listened to the CD yet (nor will I, probably) but the images in the book are great -- fun to sing the songs while baby looks at the bold pictures. Great book.

I love love love the contents of the book. Classic nursery rhymes are so great for kids. But, it seems like there was some heat or printing damage to the inside of the book causing the ink to fade onto other pages.

In my personal opinion I think this is a cute book. It has bright, colorful pages. I have given this book as a baby shower gift several times.

This book was okay, but the rhymes are very short, and I would prefer if more of the original rhyme had been included. We have another book of nursery rhymes that takes them all a little further and our little boy likes them better.

I usually do not write reviews, but this book is so awful, I felt compelled to share. I am shocked that it gets any good reviews. We received this as a gift for our 1 year old daughter. We have another book/cd set from this series, which was Ok (I found the songs to be annoying, but my daughter seems to enjoy them enough). This CD is just painful to listen to. We put it on in the car, and it is just a bunch of nursery rhymes read/sung in a sing song tone. Although I find the singing to be worse than nails on a chalkboard, that is actually not the worst part. It is the selection of rhymes. I really don't want to read or sing to my child about the old woman in a shoe who "whipped [her children] soundly and put them to bed" or about the "old man who wouldn't say his prayers, I took him by the left leg and threw him down the stairs". Now, I understand that these are actual nursery rhymes, but why would anyone choose to republish them these days? I can't believe that I am the only one who finds these to be inappropriate for children or for anyone for that matter. I just hope I can find a receipt for this awful book.

I bought this one for my 1 year old but it didnot seem to catch his attention at all. May be i just bought this product too early. He is not interested in the CD at all because its not a video just audio. I wish i bought a video CD. I gave 3 stars because the colors in the book are beautiful and the book looks durable.
