After reading and reviewing this book, I can strongly recommend it to any nurse looking for a change in his/her career.

Eagles has prepared an extremely interesting and educational book for new graduates of BSN and MSN programs as well as for RNs already in practice who are contemplating a change in their career trajectory. The book offers many very practical guidelines for how nurses can best use their expertise and skills to make contributions to the health care field. Eagles illustrates how to use the nursing process in changing one's career and life to make the most of a nurse's unique abilities. She identifies how nurses can use the changes in health care to maximize their own positions. Excellent examples of resumes, face letters, and thank-you letters are provided. There is also a very comprehensive listing and explanation of nursing resources such as journals, nursing organizations, home care providers, and online resources.
