The book is fine, but definitely buy the paper copy. The kindle version is not indexed, meaning that you cannot search for anything unless you go to the table of contents, scroll through the available letters, then scroll through the list of diagnoses. This is so inefficient that I really have no choice but to buy the paper copy now. A complete waste of $40!!!!

Ive been using Amazon for years and this is my first one star review... Way to go guys.

Writing care plans is never, ever fun, but this book makes it as painless as possible. I'd recommend it to any nursing student. It takes a lot of the uncertainty out of the process by explaining the diagnosis, providing rational, interventions and suggesting related interventions by disease.

BUY THIS BOOK!!!!! It's worth every cent!!!! Great information to do all kinds of care plans!!!! Great book you must have this one!!! Don't need any other books once you have this one to use!!!!

My school required Cox's Clinical Applications - Needless to say, I didn't buy it. I've read the reviews on here, and got feedback from other classmates who did buy it. I began searching for the 'best' care plan book, and I believe I've found it! This book is so easy to read, and all the information is laid out so well. Our clinical instructor said I did a great job with my care plan - I have this book to thank. You will not be wasting your money!

This book is a must have. If you are a nursing student especially, you NEED this book. It will help so much in writing your care plans. It has the rationales needed and the diseases. I recommend buying the taber's encycloedia with it, though because I think togther they work even better. This book is a great help.

I am a first semester nursing student and needed a care plan book. My instructor had a much older version of this book and it was very informative compared to all other books that students had purchased from the college book store. I searched the web, found a newer version of the book and received it in a short period of time. Care plans are a breeze now. Would highly recommend this book for any nursing students.

Nursing Diagnosis Handbook is a must for all nursing students. It is a guide that will help you make the correct nursing diagnosis of your patient when completing your paperwork at the end of your clinical shift before turning it in to your instructor. This book comes with an index to help guide you in the right direction and also gives you the "related to" and "as evidence by" information that you will need to gather the necessary documentation.

I could not make it through nursing school without it. It helps understand the nursing process, how to formulate your nursing diagnosis and plan. I wish I would have bought this book earlier. It would have made my life so much easier.

Text has come in VERY handy in the clinic and classroom. Makes case studies a breeze! I definitely recommend this book to anyone in need of a thorough and well-written diagnosis book. The rationales are already cited, which makes citing no work at all, and I like the plethora of intervention choices available for me to choose.

This is the best nursing diagnosis book. I use it consistently with my student nurses.
