This text is easy to read, explains concepts well. For a required text it's pretty good, it hasn't put me to sleep yet. I'll be reading all the chapters, not just the required ones.

I am working on my doctorate in nursing. This book has much up to date useful information with links to other sources. Good resource. Worth the purchase price.
