I had to buy this book for a nursing management class. Here are my complaints...it is not very concise (it rambles on and on) and the Preface states that there is an online companion to accompany the book but does not give you a website. It does not exist. On the plus side, there are a few NCLEX-style questions included, on the down-side, there is no way to check your answers because they are apparently supposed to be found on the non-existent online companion. I even called the Delmar Cengage help-line to find the website. The teenager I talked to put me on hold to look it up, then told me that I had to buy the answers and gave me an ISBN number I could type into my web browser to find the page that sells the answers. Nothing turned up. She then told me that she couldn't find anything on an online companion and that I was pretty much out of luck.

I think this is a terrible book. They have great questions in the book but no answers! What the heck? Nursing is all about rationale and the "why" and this nursing book doesn't do it. How annoying! Don't expect to find any correct answers anywhere.

I find this book hard to read and to concentrate on. It's wordy. It is also very frustrating that there is no way to review the questions at the end of the chapters. They should be some of the most helpful things in the book but are nearly useless. The website companion is mentioned but no URL to find it.

This was a totally pointless book to use. I spent all this time reading and doing to review questions to learn that I can't check my answers. So now I have all these ideas in my head that may or may not be true which in turn is causing me even more confusion than when I started. DON'T BUY THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE A LOT OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a required text for a program, it was useful and the table's were very helpful to know for the NCLEX-RN. If you need it I'd get it; but only pay half of what the on-campus bookstore is asking for brand new texts and that would be a fair price.

This book is completely worhtless and a waste of time. The only reason I purchased it was for a month long class, and I still didn't use the book.

The book was not in as good of condition as the seller stated. Not worth the money I paid. The binding of the book was detached from the cover.

This book is a hard read, font size is very small. Didn't help me at all in this class.

If I'd checked my mailbox, I'd have realized the book had arrived on time. As stated in the description, there were some markings and highlighting, but only on a few pages. Closed, however, it looks brand spanking new. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Seller did not know how to log back into his/her account, saying it was locked and they would not unlock or tell him how to log back in. Did not follow-up and never shipped item. I had to call to dispute the transaction through my credit card company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
