5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't ask for better.
I was very pleased when I received this book, it was quick, cheap, and met the description exactly. The book was in great condition. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money - don't buy this terrible book
Absolutely terrible. The worst textbook I have ever had to use. Absolutely useless. Poorly written, poorly organized.

3.0 out of 5 stars KINDLE book is 3rd Edition, not current edition, October 20, 2010

Buy with caution. Kindle book is 3rd Ed. and not up to date. I didn't read the fine print and found out the 3rd edition would not do when I went to class today.

2.0 out of 5 stars Biased, September 18, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Nursing Now: Today's Issues, Tomorrows Trends (Paperback)
This text book seemed quite biased. In the examples it painted the nurse-physician relationship in a negative light. It posed the physician as the mean egotistical jerk and the nurse as the confident hero. Many of the ideas portrayed were overly simplified, biased, sexist, and maybe even downright fallacious. I don't know if there could be less critical thinking than in the "critical thinking" chapter in this book. The authors seem to lack a sophisticated understanding of philosophy and poorly, if not incorrectly, define inductive reasoning. Overall I was disappointed with the competence of the authors.
