Elsevier's bestselling nursing drug reference is the one you need to stay up-to-date and avoid medication errors. Thoroughly revised and updated every year, Mosby's 2008 Nursing Drug Reference provides all the information necessary for safe administration of more than 1,300 generic and 4,500 trade name drugs. This portable handbook organizes drugs alphabetically, and features an improved, two-color interior design with A-to-Z thumb tabs to make it even easier to find essential information quickly. This review is from: Mosby's 2008 Nursing Drug Reference, 21e (SKIDMORE NURSING DRUG REFERENCE) (Paperback)
It may seem a little pricey, but this text is well worth it. It's tremendous index is the secret. I can find in under 30 sec any drug available on the American market complete with uses, side effects, and alternative labeling. If you are a health professional, and get only one book....GET THIS ONE !!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars useful and handy, September 22, 2007

This review is from: Mosby's 2008 Nursing Drug Reference, 21e (SKIDMORE NURSING DRUG REFERENCE) (Paperback)
Love the fact that it's alphabetized so it makes it easier and a lot quicker to find the medication. One bad thing about it is that if you don't know know both the generic or brand name, you'll end up going to the index which sucks when you're in a hurry.
