Nursing research isn't only found in journals-you can do it too!

If the word “research” makes your staff feel overwhelmed or queasy, Nursing Research Program Builder: Strategies to Translate Findings into Practice is your solution.

Many nurses want to use research to find their own answers to clinical questions, but they don’t know where to begin. After mastering evidence-based practice (EBP), conducting your own research is an important step in embracing nursing excellence and building a culture of quality. And nursing research can be an integral part of working toward ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®* designation.

Nursing Research Program Builder: Strategies to Translate Findings into Practice will give you or your nurses the strategies and tools you need to conduct your own research. This resource gives you:

  • Practical guidance and advice on getting started
  • Key strategies that walk you through the research process
  • Sample templates for all the documentation required by Institutional Review Boards (IRBs)
  • Tips to motivate, inspire, and help get everyone involved
  • A CD-ROM loaded with customizable tools and checklists

Whether you have already implemented EBP and are ready to take the next step, or you are working toward ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® designation, Nursing Research Program Builder: Strategies to Translate Findings into Practice gives you the simple strategies you need to get your research initiative up and running.

This how-to guide will save you time and stress by breaking the research process down into easily understandable steps that walk you through what to do, why, and when. This resource will:
