Can be overwhelming,
By Michelle (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Nursing School and Allied Health Entrance Exams (Academic Test Preparation Series) (Paperback)
When I purchased this book, I didn't have any reviews to go from as this is the "new" edition. I recently took the nursing exam and the test wasn't nearly as in depth as this book. I feel like I wasted a lot of time learning anatomy and physiology that wasn't even needed for the test. There were a lot of practice questions throughout the book but I found it difficult to study from those. I have been out of college for almost 10 years so the book was helpful to brush up on some of those math and science concepts that were forgotten. I would recommend purchasing Barron's "How to Prepare for the Nursing School Entrance Exams". It was easier to follow and stuck to the basic concepts of the test subjects.
