As a retired nurse I buy one of these every 5 years to have a recent resource on hand. It is simple, direct and gives the necessary information for administration, dosage and side effects. The online resource is handy.

This is one of the best of all the drug books available...simple to use, straightforward with all information needed on dosage, side effects, drug interactions, etc. I would not be without it, believe me! And, best of all, Amazon had it at a great price!

As a retired registered nurse, I am no longer able to keep up with new developments in drugs. I had used this reference during my career as a nurse and find it to be easy to read and understand. It gives me the information that I feel is important to know about medications. Excellent reference!

It's easier to read and carry than the PDR
and contains complete info about drugs...
a quick and informative reference.

I don't feel that this drug book has enough information on the drug as the old springhouse drug books did. I love the old books, but this one is not as good.

I am a RN, I have ordered this drug book over the years, every 3-4 years I upgrade. I also teach medication aides & this is the textbook I used. I love the patient education listed with the medications as well as the nursing implications. Really a user friendly medication book.

Ordered this book for my mother who is a nurse...
She was thrilled with this new version (Her original drug handbook was sooooo outdated)!!!
She said that the 2010 was very organized and included LOTS of new information that her old book hadn't!!!

I purchased this book used for my wife. She is going to school to obtain a Certified Med-Aide License, and this is a required book. This book goes retail for 100 dollars plus off the shelf. I bought this book used from an Amazon seller,Barracuda Books,for 17 dollars with an included web toolkit. It arrived way ahead of schedule and in excellent condition as stated. I am extremely happy with the purchase, and am also able to resell the book back to the company for a modest return when my wife finishes school. I will never get over the the overall options, customer service and deals that I continue to find here at Amazon. I rarely ever go anywhere else for important purchases.

This is an excellent updated drug handbook. It has lots of little extras in it too. A must have for every clinic. This one is used in a camp nurses clinic.

This book is very easy to use; it is fast and the information is accurate.It is something that is a necessity for any nurse working in a hospital setting.
