Awesome pump for the price!,
This review is from: Nurture III Deluxe Breast Pump (Baby Product)
I've tried some of the more expensive pumps with my last two children and wasn't completely satisfied. When my daughter was born I decided to try a more affordable pump. So far this pump is working perfectly. It took a few minutes to get used to the pump, but once I did I started to really like it. I'm also producing more milk than I did with my other, more expensive, pumps. Overall, I am very happy with this pump.

I personally like this pump. You have control of the suction and compared to other pumps it helped me increase my milk supply and maintain it. I do agree with the previous reviewer because a lot of times I can use my manual pump and it works just fine but when you are in a hurry and busy at work you have to get in and out. I got the basic pump from WIC and I was able to upgrade it on the website for about 60 bucks. I think it works just as good as the other pumps a lot of my friends that use the more expensive only pump about a few ozs. I can get about more than them and this is the only pump that can get multiply users, which is approved by the FDA. If you massage your breast and control the suction correctly you can easily increase your supply. If not I have say that they are all the same Medela, Bailey, Ameade and if you need something more a hospital grade is what is needed.

Manually controlling suction was a 'Pro' for me.,

I am a working mom and have used this pump through 3 children (1 set of twins), for a year each and think it is a great pump. As the previous reviewers noted, you do use your finger to control the length/speed of the suction. Personally, I really liked this feature because sometimes I need different speeds at different phases of pumping (pre-let down, post-let down). It was nice being able to 'listen' to my body cues and adjust the suction speed to fit my needs at that moment. The con of using your finger to control suction is that this pump cannot be used hands free with those hands free pumping bras, which would have been nice sometimes. Pro is the reasonable price (all that baby stuff gets expensive!). My friend also used the pump through her 3 kids and it held up beautifully (we did replace tubing and filters, of course). Overall, this is not as trendy as that 'other' pump, but it is a good value and gets the job done.

I recieved this as a gift...what a waste of money...you have to use your finger to create suction and even then it does nothing but make a lot of noise. My manual pump works just fine...don't waste your money on this pump.

All I got was hurt,

This pump is awful! I kept increasing the power because I couldn't feel any suction, until it was all the way out, at which point it hurt me (and somehow there still was no proper suction). I went back to using my manual pump. Plus, having to use your finger to create suction for an electric pump is just stupid!
