Nurture My Body shampoo comes in a recyclable/reusable blue-glass container with a pump dispenser. It lathers nicely and rinses clean with no residue, yet doesn't strip hair or make it feel like straw. Unlike some fragrance-free shampoos which smell off, like wet cardboard (e.g 365 fragrance-free shampoo), this shampoo has a faint herbal scent from the organic ingredients, which is not noticeable when the hair is dry. This shampoo is rated a 0 (non-toxic) by an independent website, is phthalate-free and sodium lauryl sulfate-free, and is made with certified organic ingredients.

This shampoo lathers some and leaves my hair clean and shiny. There really isn't any smell (fragrance-free). A lovely product, but I probably won't buy it again because it's so expensive.

I liked this shampoo since it was approved by EWG but my scalp disagreed with it so I passed it on to my daughter. I was sorry I couldn't use it but some products give me eczema and this is one of them.

So I got the shampoo and wanted to checkout the ingredients. The font was so small, I had to get out my really powerful magnifying glass to read them. First 3 ingredients: Water, Decyl Polyglucose and Lauryl Polyglucose. Doesn't sound too natural to me. I compared this to another natural shampoo I got recently (Dr Alkaitis) -- which did not have these chemically sounding ingredients.

Once in the shower, I realized that the glass bottle was indeed a hazard. I would hate to drop it and have it break.

Finally, I guess a little natural fragrance wouldn't be bad. Natural ingredients give off natural smells.

It seems to work fine, but I wouldn't buy it again.
