Easiest product to help stop obsessive licking,

The good news: This is the first product that actually focuses on physically blocking the dog from licking the exact spot on his/her body that has become a problem spot. All others are either huge bulky collars that may or may not work (our dog would lay his paw on a pillow which would allow him to reach his hot spot while still wearing his "satelite dish" collar). The taste turned off the dog, which kept him from licking.
The bad news: a little expensive and they did not stay on more than a day each. It takes about 2 weeks usually for these spots to heal, so that would mean 14 strips are needed.

This product did nothing at all to alleviate the incessant licking. I still have 4 of them left. I have tried everything and nothing works. I think it's time for Mr. Lamp Shade.

My dog would not quit licking his leg after knee surgery and we had tried everything to get him to stop. Someone suggested these strips. He had it off in 2 minutes and my husband couldn't hardly stand the strong cayenne pepper smell, but my dog never flinched!
