This music box in fairyland of dreams & melody!
The colors & detailing of scene are amazing,exactly as the displaying picture.
The size of box 4.5",2",2.3",Relatively small & still has a room for the ring or
necklace or something memorable & precious.The flaws are tiny scratches on the golden trim and inconvenient wind of music-given 4 stars.I wish this music box would be presented in the gift box,but over all is great Gift!

This little music box is beautiful, but nowhere in the description could I find the dimensions, and I'm afraid it's much smaller than I expected from the picture. Also, the music just plays the first few bars of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy --- over and over. I'm returning the music box and will find something else for my granddaughter.

Tinier than I thought it would be. Only big enough for a set of keys or a couple of lipsticks. Winding stem is in an awkward place, too close to the inside of the box. Decorations match plates by the same artist.

I received my music box in good order. The box is a heavy porcelain and less fragile that I assumed it would be. The paint/lacquer was in good condition and did not appear to be some cheap paint on/scratch off application. The gold leaf accents also seem stable and not inclined to chip or flake. Though not large, the dimensions of the box in real life seemed more than the measurements indicate. The interior bottom is lined with a short napped velvet-like fabric. The key to turn the music box is inside as well. Both were neat, sturdy, and appeared to be well put together. Box plays a few of the recognizable bars of the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy and was well done. Would have preferred a gift box, but, not a big deal. Literature for the box is in with the packing slip on the shipping container and I almost threw it away without getting it. All in all I am charmed by this lovely little box. It seems to capture something of the magic of Christmas. I am giving two this year to family and would buy again.
