I use this coconut oil as a skin softener. It is fabulously rich and it smells good too. I also use it on my hair when doing a heat treatment. It strengthens the hair shaft and makes hair healthy and resists split ends.

Nutiva's organic coconut oil is terrific. They press it from fresh coconuts, and I think that's what gives it the nice gentle fragrance and wonderful taste. I like the clear plastic jar it comes in. We've been using coconut oil for years and Nutiva tastes much better than the coconut oil from dried coconuts. I even spread it on crackers. Yummy!

I was looking for virgin coconut oil and it can get very expensive. I decided on 3 moderately priced oils to try. This one is very good, as is Jarrows, don't bother with the NOW brand. This does not have that gag factor that some of the oils do. I couldn't really tell the difference between this and the Jarrows, they were both very good oils.

I love this coconut oil. It tastes great on bread instead of using butter. It has a great coconut taste. I also use when I'm baking istead of using other types of oil or shortening.
Extra Virgin Coconut oil is the best. I made the mistake of getting the refined coconut oil once(different brand), and there is huge difference in the taste. The refined oil has no coconut taste, it tastes like shortening.

Coconut oil has helped to lower my cholesterol dramatically in only a few months, along with other dietary changes. The only problem with this product is that it is packaged in plastic rather than glass, so I might not buy it again from this company. The supplier/shipper also poorly wrapped the jar for shipping.

This exact brand is in my very expensive neighborhood health store--12 oz. cost 19.99. So, I'm getting a great deal here and the taste is better than butter. I've used it in everything from oatmeal to sauteeing veggies. I will say that in the jar there is a very, very subtle coconut smell, but when combined with food there is none at all. In fact, my other oil is ghee--and as good as that is, I prefer the coconut oil. My husband who is funny about most things loves it too--he was especially crazy about the idea that he could have an oil that wouldn't raise his cholesterol and that actually aids your body rather than destroy it like most oils. I purchased this particular brand less than a month ago, and we love it so much that I've ordered another shipment with double the order.

I have used many different brands of coconut oil but I must say Nutiva Organic coconut oil is definitely one of the best ones. It has the pure coconut smell and great for use on skin. It was manufactured very recently and has a 2 year lifespan which is impressive. The shipping was incredibly fast, took only 3 days for this to appear at my house. It's also great for cooking.

it's good coconut oil...i purchased for help with keratosis pilaris.. hasn't exactly done the job.. makes skin feel nice but doesn't get rid of the redness.. i like it though
