The product does dry quickly and very hard.

The directions say that Acetone is the only thing that removes the polish, but I used Acetone and I couldn't get it off.

On my fingernails this stuff lasted about two and a half days before chipping.

This is what I did...First clean and dry nails. Apply activator to all five nails. Apply gel polish to all five nails. Go over NAILS with cleaner to thin out first layer. CLEAN COLOR BRUSH ITSELF BY PLACING IN THE CLEANER AND SHAKING. Repeat other hand.
Second Coat....ONE NAIL AT A TIME SKIPPING THE CLENER ON NAIL BUT CLEANING BRUSH ITSELF AFTER 5 NAILS ARE COMPLETE. The final stroke should be on the tip of the nail to prevent chipping in a horozontal or (like the sun's horizon...across left to right as opposed to vertical stroke). If you notice in the salons they always do a horozontal stroke after applying to strengthen tip.
THATS IT, five minutes later, all is dry and well and if a bit tacky it means you used too much color. This is why a thin layer of COLOR NOT THIN ON ACTIVATOR JUST COLOR is so important. Also a trick is to put hands under ice cold running water if they are not drying in the five minute time frame.
HAVE FUN AND ENJOY SAVING THE MONEY YOU WOULD HAVE USED IN A SALON FOR 3x'S THE AMOUNT NOT TO MENTION THE TIME AND THE UNHEALTHY UV LIGHT THEY PUT YOUR DELICATE HANDS UNDER BAKING THEM FOR WHAT SEEMS LIKE HOURS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
They say the UV light does not AGE your hands but I think common sense is UV will damage reading medical reviews on UV in general how could it not damage the delicate skin on your hands?

Although my nails looked fabulous when they were finished (the shine was remarkable), they began chipping almost immediately. My nails were clean and oil free (as directed) so I know it wasn't my fault. Not only did they chip, the chips were huge! I attempted to repair the first few chips but quickly realized that it was useless. In the end, I just "chipped" off the rest of it and sent in for a refund. We'll see if I get it....

I bought this little three nail polish set in effort to make a gel like set with other nail polish and Essie 3 way glaze. I only used the activator. Made my nails nice and hard and the polish doesn't chip after 3 days! Worth the cost

This was no better than any other nail polish. I followed the directions EXACTLY, and still have chips the day after. And it's not like I'm working hard labor with them or anything. I've washed my face, done some typing, used a fork to eat my food. Ridiculous. Save your cash.

Not worth the 11.99 I paid for this product. I have used this product twice now and I'm very disappointed each time. Did exactly as the instructions stated, but got massive chipping one day afterwards. I've had less chipping with normal nail polish. Saving my money and sticking the the good old standard nail polishes.

Exactly what I have been looking for. It takes a little practice, not exactly like painting nails, but very very close. I cannot use a cure lamp with out a skin reaction, so I am very glad to try this product.

I purchased this at another retailer thinking it would save me time and money. What a waste! The product does dry quickly and very hard. However if you are a klutz at all, like me, and you get some on your skin it is impossible to get off. So I did my nails, very happy it seemed so durable. Hah! The very next day, not even 24 hours later, it was chipping and cracking on every nail. Definitely not worth it.
