Once upon a time I was a HUGE drinker. I didn't *destroy* my liver, but it wasn't in the best shape either. I quit drinking and started taking Milk Thistle every day. Usually 2 pills in the AM and one at night. Within 6 months my liver function was excellent. Tests showed it was actually in pristine condition! I'm not saying this would work for everyone, but I make sure I pass some on to my friends who still drink in hopes it helps to flush the toxins out of their livers.

I, too, still take it because I take a lot of supplements and herbs.
