Corky has been using this product for several years upon the recommendation of an orthopedic vetrinarian. It agrees with her digestion. She only weighs four pounds so she get 1/2 capusule per day sprinkled on her evening meal. She is a Yorkie with bad knees (common in the breed) and at [...] she is still active and playful and it seems to prevent severe pain in her little body. This is an observation as Corky communicates well, but alas, doesn't talk.

My vet recommended this for my 11-year-old loveable mutt. Prior to use, the dog was tripping going up stairs, walking slowly during our outings, and having to be set up on her favorite perches indoors. Now, the tripping and stumbling incidents have decreased significantly, she runs to the full extent of her leash and tugs to go faster when we are out, and she hops up in "her" chair with no assistance. She is a small dog (23 pounds). Nothing else has changed in her diet or her daily regimen. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Cosequin is widely recommended by veternarians and it works great. Please be advised though that prices are variable by distributor. And the most expensive distributors are the VETS themselves. You can do comparison shopping over the internet and save more than 1/2 of the price of same product from your local vet. Just be sure to shop early so you don't completely diminish your supply, especially in hurricane season.

If you love your pet, you will want to keep them from hip and joint pain and not think twice about spending the money on this product.

Did nice things for my cat's joints but gave her intolerable diarhea. (not sending video...)

Three years ago I rescued two mill breeder Yorkies. They were both in bad shape. Both had trouble walking being locked in stacked cages for years. And even though in time they learned to love the leash and their walks I still saw that they limped on many occasions. Cosequin was recommended and after using it for over a month I saw a vast difference in one of them. She now runs and leaps over small obstacles with the greatest of ease. I believe the Cosequin was responsible for that. My other little one doesn't seem to tolerate it very well. But to be fair she has chronic gastric upsets and this product like many other things seems to upset her stomach. But I am thrilled that it has worked for at least one of them. If you have small dogs one bottle will last a year as I sprinkle half a capsule once a day on her food.

I actually saw this advertized on tv and decided to try it,and so far it is REALLY helping my Lhasa Apso,She moves without limping now. I received this product quickly and enjoy shopping at amazon.

I purchased Cosequin after seeing it on TV. Jack Hanna of the Columbus Zoo said they give it to their older animals. This product has given new life to my 12 year old Lhasa. He is much more active and seems to be free of pain. Kudos to this product.

The vet recommended this product for our aging dogs. He explained that as dogs get older the ligaments are not as strong as they once were. One of them had a problem with his right back leg. He kept walking around on his other 3 legs and couldn't put weight on the fourth leg. After 3 weeks he could walk normally. We continue to give Cosequin to both our dogs because they are 12 years old.

Half the price of what my vet charges! My dog is 14 and in great shape due to diet and lots of exercise but last year he started not to be able to jump on my bed ( I know.....) and wouldn't play Frisbee in the snow & cold temps. I could see he was hurting a bit. I did my research and asked my vet and breeder-- they both recommended this brand. It has worked wonders-- he's back on the bed and played Frisbee in 20 degrees for almost an hour today -- pain free. Doesn't work for everyone but it worked for us.

Certainly looks exactly the same as the bottle we get from our vet for $70. I add this to my Italian Greyhound's food every day. She's still young but we're hoping to prevent joint damage.
