5.0 out of 5 stars $$$moneysaver
Get the same product for half as much!! Sam E is the same as Denosyl but much much cheaper! My Doberman has cirrhosis and has improved dramatically on this supplement. Skip the name brand and get the same great results.

3.0 out of 5 stars Denosyl from Entirely Pets
I like the product.
My dog had a high liver reading, so I'm using Denosyl.
I feel good about it, though I haven't had the bloodwork done to recheck it, yet.
This was the 2nd time I purchased Denosyl from EntirelyPets.
The first time they sent it in a box and it was perfect!

This was the 2nd time I purchased Denosyl from EntirelyPets.
The first time they sent it in a box and it was perfect!
This time they sent it in an envelope and the box of Denosyl was flattened.
That's not good, because it's important that the tablet be delivered to the stomach without the coating being broken.
I contacted the company but they didn't get back to me.

I started giving this to my doberman after she was diagnosed with CAH and cirrhosis. It has assisted in lowering her liver blood tests to almost normal levels and maintaining it for the past 2 years. Without it, I do not believe that Molly would still be with me. It is well worth the money.

My dog was diagnosed with a genetic liver disorder and needed to take 650mg of Denosyl per day. Through my local vet this cost was $100 for a thirty day supply. I was able to get it for about $68.00 per month for the exact same drug. She was taking one of these plus a 225mg each day. The cost savings were huge and it can't get any more convenient than ordering on line.

Our 9-year-old Aussie mix had slightly elevated liver enzymes during his senior health check. The vet prescribed Denosyl and I was a) surprised that it was an 'over-the-counter' product and b) seriously dubious that a supplement would help. Initial follow-up blood tests (once a month checks) showed only slight improvement and we were cautiously optimistic. After about six months, his liver enzymes were well within the normal range. We are continuing to give him the Denosyl daily on the vet's orders just to make sure that his liver remains healthy.

We did follow the instructions very carefully and gave it only on an empty stomach and encouraged him to drink water after the pill was given. Note that the pill isn't flavored, so you'll have to use your patented method to administer to your pet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helping my Lab, October 30, 2007
My lab has been taking 2 tablets of the 425mg. denosyl for more then 2 months now. After many liver tests, we found out her liver was storing copper and zinc. So my vet prescribed the denosyl, marin, and ursodiol. She's back to normal and will probably be on these pills for the rest of her live. So it's nice to know that I can save so much money by ordering them online.

I bought the same amount of Denosyl from my vet and paid $165 (they charged me by the pill). I should have checked amazon first! The vet says my dog's liver enzymes are looking good. Excellent product...outstanding price!!!!

This review is from: Nutramax Denosyl for Dogs, 425mg - 30 Count (Misc.)
We are using Denosyl in conjunction with Rx Penicillamine and a USANA antioxident called Benasil to treat copper poisoning in our Dalmatian's liver. The combo seems to be working, as her liver ALT has dropped from 517 to 300 in a month. Next test will be in mid-March. Denosyl was prescribed by our Vet.

My Vet advised me to buy this product because my dog had high liver enzymes. Since using this product, my dog's liver enzymes are stabilizing.
