These pills have worked for me,
By I decided to try Lipo 6 out because of an ad I saw in Oxygen Magazine. I've tried Hydroxycut and Trimspa. Neither one of them worked for me. So before I gave up on supplements, I tried out Lipo 6. I went from weighing 164lbs ( August 31st, first weigh in ) to weighing 147lbs ( at this time ). If you follow the directions correctly, exercise and eat healthy ( notice I didn't say diet ), this product will work for you. Lipo 6 will help curb your appetite. For the first couple of weeks I couldn't finish most of my meals. And I love to eat!! I found that it helped with my workout as well. I have more energy and it gave me a huge boost in my metabolism. I don't know how well this product works for men but, as for women, I recommend this product. I am very happy with this product. I have 13 more pounds to go 'til I'm at my goal weight ( 135lbs!!! ). If you're not going to go out and exercise and eat healthy, then please don't waste your money. You'll be mad at yourself later. Go to [...] and view some of the pictures of some of the individuals progress. That should aid you on whether or not to use this product. :)

What these products REALLY do,
By
This review is from: LIPO 6- Nutrex Accelerated Fat-Loss Formula, 240 Liquid Caps (Health and Beauty)
Let's get this all out there about what this product, as well as, all these "types" of products really does. This also relates to its sister product Lipo 6 Black.
Look, I've been doing competitive bodybuilding and power-lifting for years. Including help train athletes in college. There is no, I repeat, no product on the market that will actually crush, kill, remove, melt, or any other adjective, the fat from your body. There is no magic pill. There is really only one prescription drug that will actually help in reducing fat. For the life of me I can't think of the name, but, the side-effects include the onset of dramatic diarrhea. Why? Because the chemical combination of the drugs block the absorption of fat. What you end up getting is a slurry of fat mixed in with waste product, and there is no way of knowing when that sludge is about to be released. Sounds fun, eh? What Lipo 6 and these other types of fat burners, primarily do, is heat up the body in the act of trying to "melt" away the fat. Unfortunately, fat reserves don't melt away. They need to be utilized. How is that done? The short answer is; after all the glycogen has been utilized. Fat utilization doesn't take place until LONG after you start to work out, and it doesn't happen as you're just sitting there at your desk or watching TV. These types of supplements really only started to take off after we in the bodybuilding, powerlifting, and athletic arena were found out to be taking a radical combination of three "drugs/supplements" called "The triple Stack." What that consisted of was 100mg of caffeine, 325mg of aspirin and 25mg of Ephedra, taken 3 times a day. That combination created a "synergistic effect." Meaning, the combination of the drugs created more output then if the drugs were taking individually. It created a "heating" of the body, and the thought was that the "brown fat" (fat that has blood vessels running through it, primarily in the middle of the back) could be burned away. The other positive was that it gave you a great focus and energy during your workouts, plus, because of the caffeine, created a mild diuretic effect and a suppression of appetite. This was great if you were getting ready for a bodybuilding show or a wrestling match. Several years after this use of the triple stack, supplement companies started creating this combination of drugs, in their "natural" state, ie Guarana extract, mauwong (sp). This was a great alternative to buying the drugs individually. And, yeah! It had to be good for you, it's a legitimate supplement. Of course, after the death of a professional baseball player, who was taken this triple stack, and taking a lot of ephedra was confirmed that he died because of this use, (may also had to do with a bad ticker) the US banned the use of ephedra in supplements and general sales. (Go figure. We'd been using this stuff for years without any problems but because some idiot over does it, we all pay for it. Yet, how many people every year die because of cigarettes? hmmmm) Now, all the fat loss supplements out that are Ephedra free. Including all the Lipo-6 line, slimfast, Hydroxycut, you name it, they got it. What does this all mean? Well, there is still NO supplement that is going to melt away the fat. It takes a LOT of work. Diet and exercise, blah blah. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was. What this product is good for, is the same thing that the original Triple Stack was good for. Caffeine stimulation throughout the day, more focus at the gym, mild diuretic, and appetite suppression. Additionally, there is a reason why they want you to take this product first thing in the morning, 30 mins before your breakfast. It KILLS your morning appetite so you don't gorge yourself from being so hungry while you're trying to diet. The one thing I've noticed about Lipo Black, compared to Lipo 6, is that the effects of Black tend to last longer. And the morning appetite suppression is even more profound. I think the weight loss that MOST people are getting from these types of products, are really from water loss, which is what the first 10 lbs of ANY diet is going to be, plain and simple. The main reason our bodies fluctuate some much, especially in the morning is due to water, not fat gain or loss. All in all, I use the product for same reason I used the triple stack; as a supplement to help me get through the day and my workouts. You just need to think about what you're going to do with our own exercise and diet program. Just remember, no supplement is going to reduce you to a shredded monster or beauty. It's all in the physical and diet approach.

No Complaints here....Works as it says it does,
By Now, as stated on the bottle, I started out with one pill a day. As I am only 5'1 and 115 pounds, I found that I did not need more than 2 a day to work for me. They give you a lot of energy and if you use them in conjunction with regular exercise, they actually work. Your appetite is suppressed and you feel like getting up to do more. My goal of weight loss was not a lot. I wanted to loose 10 pounds that were being stubborn, and then to maintain it. I lost the weight in a resonable amount of time, and had no problems as far as being sick or heart palpitations. Your body will help you to find the right dose, as like myself, some people can't handle 4 pills a day. Just take it slow like the instructions advise, build your way up, and keep up your exercise!

It does works... (a balanced review),

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Ok let me start by analyzing a couple of the most extreme reviews (given before mine).
Regarding, the review where this girl got extremely sick... I have a theory, this girl was 109 pounds and although I dont question her fitness level, a very good stimulant pill like this will just be bad for you if you dont have that much corporal mass and/or you cant even deal with a cup of coffee. Second, regarding the review that says this is a "miracle pill" (he lost 7 pounds in one day)... I was sooo skeptical about this, until I weighted myself the day after my first dosis, I lost 3 pounds... I couldnt believe it I was just staring at the scale (which I use regularly), I've even checked if the scale was calibrated and everything. And it was true, and shocking, I just lost 3 pounds in one day. Third, I've been using this for 3 days now, but let me say that I was working out a lot more since January (new years resolution...) I am doing 30 to 45 min of cardio a day and weightlifting 4 to 5 days a week... It is right, this is not a miracle pill if you are eating junk in front of the TV, you have to give it a "push" to release its full potential.

Worked for me,
I started to get into the whole workout thing in February. I asked around and studied dietary supplements and found that the Lipo 6 was probably the best for me. I too was at my heaviest weight of 260 lbs being 6'1".. As of my last weigh in (May 2,2006) I now weigh 220lbs. Although I have been doing exstensive Cardio everyother day and weight training. I'd give Lipo 6 five stars but like everyone else says your not going to see drastic results unless you are working out and watching what you eat. I am more fit than I have ever been.

Excellent for Weightloss.,
My brother is a professional bodybuilder, and before his shows when he needs to lose his weight at a gradual pace, he uses this item. So I began using it when he offered for me to try it. I usually DO NOT take supplements to lose weight or gain muscle of any sort, I am NOT the type of person to pop pills everyday, so you can understand how aggravating it must have been that I had to resort to this. I did extensive research on Lipo6 before I began taking it. I was fearful of the caffeine content, as I don't consume any usually. And it did have a terrible effect on me, I was a bit jumpy, jittery etc,. HOWEVER- everyone is RIGHT when they say those side-effects DEFINITELY subside after the first week!! you will not feel a thing , trust me I am extremely sensitive to caffeine too. Going through the stress of graduate school I gained 20lbs. I've been taking Lipo6 now for about a couple weeks. The first week I lost 4lbs (great!), and its been wonderful from there. I DO workout and I eat a very nutritious diet. I believe that if you do eat horribly and do not perform some type of exercise, you will GAIN NOTHING from Lipo6. It has been a great addition to my workout and healthy eating plan- to say the least. I am getting ready for a wedding in August, and I am positive that I will reach my goal if I maintain my routine with Lipo6! I truly do hope you will take my review into consideration when you are buying this product- because if you were a skeptic like me, reading this honest review will be a great help, i know. If I could afford to, I would love to create a website for Lipo6, because this stuff really saved my life-- working out and eating right and not getting the results you desire can be a hard hit to take, but Lipo6 has saved me! :) .. GOOD LUCK!

Not an in depth review, but...,
By I'm not watching my weight on a scale (not into that) but I've been into "diet" pills (or ENERGY pills, as I call them) for a long time, and I've tried MANY of the top brands. I recommend this pill. There's no way it can't work, because it gets you buzzing hard, and food is the LAST thing on your mind!
